Remi Paul, Safran China CEO since December 1st 2022, has had an extensive international career, working and living outside his native country, France during the last 21 years.

He started it in 1990 as a banker in a French bank international credit department, then in 1996 joined the French utility giant Compagnie generale des eaux (now Veolia), working as special advisor to the Senior Executive Vice President for international Affairs, then from 2002 as the Deputy general manager of Shanghai Pudong Veolia Water company, a joint venture with Shanghai Municipal Water Bureau. From 2008 until 2013 he was Managing director of Veolia Water operations in Russia, CIS and Turkey, based in Moscow, then from 2014 until 2022 joined French Aeronautics and Defence Company Thales as its Country Director in Russia and Kazakhstan, still based in Russia.

Mr. Paul has a thorough understanding of aviation and aerospace industry thanks to his experience in Thales. During his 6 years of experience in Shanghai, Mr. Paul gained profound knowledge of Chinese market and created an outstanding advocacy networking towards Chinese stakeholders.

John-Paul (JP) Monck is a renowned expert in the banking and financial services industry in Australia, having served as: Chartered Banker; university professor;  consultant; and prudential regulator with the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). He is a practising Solicitor and practising Accountant in Australia. 

With expertise traversing the latest and most practical applications of risk management, governance, artificial intelligence, traditional banking and financial services, and emerging digital technologies, JP is uniquely placed as both an active private equity investor and trusted professional advisor to participants in the space. JP has been part of the successful launch of multiple banks in Australia, ranging from branches of global brands through to complete start-ups. 

Alan a visionary leader and strategic consultant with an illustrious career spanning over four decades. With a foundation in finance and a Chartered Accountant qualification from Kings College, Auckland, Alan has pioneered groundbreaking projects across Australia and Southeast Asia. As the founder of Xenex Corporation Pty Limited and Competitive Intelligence Australia, Alan has orchestrated multi-million dollar real estate developments, facilitated intricate financial negotiations, and conducted high-stakes commercial investigations for elite clientele. His expertise in intellectual property, trademarks, and patents has earned him acclaim within legal and financial circles, backed by a prestigious Commercial Agent and Private Inquiry License issued by the New South Wales Government. A distinguished member of the Hong Kong-Australia Business Association and a recipient of APEC recognition for his contributions to international commerce, Alan's entrepreneurial spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence have left an indelible mark on the global business landscape. Dr. Sajid Khursheed is working at Tsinghua University and at the Canadian International School of Beijing since 2011 and in Beijing for more than 20 years. He is a former Principal of Pakistan Embassy College Beijing. Dr. Sajid received his Ph.D. degree from BUCT-China and holds three master's degrees. Besides his teaching profession, he also works for CGTN, China Economic Network TV, China Radio International, and Beijing Radio FM 92.3 in various discussion programs about CPEC and Pak-China relationships. Most of his topics are related to China-US economics and China-EU related topics. Dr. Sajid also wrote articles about CPEC in various business magazines in Beijing. He is a TEDx organizer and a TEDx speaker as well. He delivered several motivational speeches at different platforms.

Currently a secretary engineering for a MNC in Beijing, he owns a PhD in Mechanical & Energetics Engineering, a double MBA from Guanghua (Peking University) and Kellogg ( Northwestern University). He is an also alumni from the School of Economics and Management Executive program ( Tsinghua University).

As a French and Canadian citizen, he worked globally for almost 2 decades in the automotive sector, living himself for several years in Germany, Czech Republic and now China.

As a treasurer of the french branch of the Global Business and Diplomatic Relations association, he wants to actively contribute with his skills to bridge the business world with the diplomats and create opportunities for common growth.

James MA is an expert in intellectual property enforcement and litigator in China.  He is a senior partner of GEN Law Firm.  He worked at international law firms for many years, such as Allen & Overy and Baker McKenzie.

James specializes and focuses on enforcing IP rights for multinational companies and domestic companies (including patent, trade secrets, trademark, and unfair competition disputes) and handles complicated commercial disputes in China.  

James has provided services for many MNCs in protecting their intellectual property, such as Bayer, Merck, GE, Novartis, Panasonic, FMC and Novozymes, etc..

Davy Nguyen is an award-winning Australian media entrepreneur and cross-sector strategist, founder of Asian-content platform HeYa TV, forging partnerships with governments, airlines, global brands, and media giants like ABC/SBS. Originally from France, Timothée has lived and studied in China, Hong Kong, and the UK, fostering a deep appreciation for cross-cultural collaboration.
